Hey Debbie, it's Kelly. I hope Chemo #3 went well for you -- well as good as could go, I guess I should say. My nephew, Duke finished all his treatments on December 3rd. Let's pray he continues to be cancer-free for decades to come. You're a very good writer, and I'm enjoying reading your blog.
I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October 2009 and underwent surgery to remove it. I underwent 14 agressive chemotherapy treatments and am still recovering from the effects of the surgery, chemotherapy and side effects of all the treatments. I have also been diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis of the Hip, most likely a side effect of the brain steroids needed during my surgery and chemotherapy. I have had both hips replaced and one shoulder replaced since completing my chemotherapy treatments. I still need one shoulder replacement on my left shoulder - putting it off as long as I can! Aside from currently recovering from cataract surgery, my health is good. I have been very fortunate throughout my health ordeals!
